Dr. Michael Longlet grew up in Red Wing, MN, and he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Minnesota in 2014. He began practicing dentistry in Bend, Oregon, where he operated as owner and general dentist. In 2023, he returned to his roots in MN and joined the Orono Dental Care Team. He values lifelong learning and earned his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry after continuing education through the prestigious Kois Center and Spear Institute, as well as training through a General Practice Hospital Residency.

Dr. Longlet brings a strong dental philosophy to each appointment: a focus on care built around the actual person in the chair. He believes that dentistry is rooted in relationships. He connects with patients not only about oral health but also about life, family and their passions. He approaches dentistry with a “function first” mindset, looking to solve the “why” of the tooth’s problem. Dr. Longlet enjoys helping patients who are curious and engaged in their health.  He loves to collaborate and seek innovative ways to expand care.

He lives in Excelsior, MN with his wife, Dr. Chelsea Longlet, and their two children, Willa and Beck. When he's not in the office, he's happiest outdoors- mountain biking, skiing, and lately chasing a new interest in wind sports. He is also a music lover who plays piano and guitar; his dream concert is Smashing Pumpkins.
