Dr. Karl Berg grew up in White Bear Lake and attended college at the University of Minnesota, Duluth. He graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry in 1977. Dr. Berg received his DDS degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1981. While practicing in Robbinsdale, Dr. Berg continued his affiliation with the School of Dentistry during a ten year period as an Assistant Clinical Professor. He was also the Chief of Staff of the dental department at North Memorial Health Care.

Dr. Berg is accomplished in all phases of family, esthetic, and computer dentistry. He has attended numerous advanced continuing education courses at the University of Minnesota and the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry that have allowed him to restore the mouth using new, modern techniques and materials including single visit CAD/CAM CEREC crowns and dental implants. He is especially talented in cosmetic bonding, placing veneers, and porcelain jacket crowns and has made cosmetic dentistry affordable for many patients. His practice seamlessly integrates computer and digital technology with dental care to bring the highest level of service to individuals and families.

In addition, Dr. Berg is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Minnesota Dental Association, Minneapolis District Dental Society and is a past President of the North Side Dental Society and the North Hennepin Kiwanis Club. He has also been a member and past chairman of several dental committees of the Minneapolis District Dental Society.

Mpls/St. Paul magazine has featured Dr. Berg many times as a “Top Dentist.” Also, Twin Cities Consumers’ Checkbook recognized him as a “Top Rated Dentist” in Hennepin and Wright Counties with a perfect score of 100.

Dr. Berg spends his free time with his wife, Konnie, and their three children. The family enjoys outdoor activities including sailing, kayaking, and skiing.
